Financing is the single most difficult element of your laser tag project. Whether you are in India or Idaho, Utah or the UK, Australia or Alabama you will find this stage the make-or-break stage.
Many manufacturers may provide SOME financing however they typically desire a 50% deposit before they will proceed to manufacturer your equipment. You may be able to stretch the other 50% over a period of time depending on the equipment supplier.
If you have a well written business plan, a strong lease, a great location, a properly designed arena and facility plan, and the right mentors, you greatly increase your chance of financing. Be beware! Only 12% of all prospects ever build or add a laser tag attraction whereas nearly 50% of all ILTA Developer Members open their dream facility.
The manufacturers will be cordial during the initial contact with you but very quickly they will ask you questions regarding your financial capabilities. Many will direct you back here to the ILTA with the recommendation that you become a [Developer Member]. We look forward to having you on board.
